Description: 8th Annual International Plein Air Painters WORLDWIDE  ”Paint Out”. All plein air painters are invited to participate.  You do not have to be a member of IPAP  but, you must register and help spread the word by publicity and word of mouth to other plein air painters.
All groups registered to date are listed at www.ipap.homestead.com/paintout.html
There is no registration fee. Go to  http://i-p-a-p.com and fill out the form – please include  full name, affiliations, location, who you will be painting with, and what publicity you can assist with.
We need your input to make this a success!  We have a generic publicity write up available on the website for group & individuals use.for newspaper,etc. Each participant should try for local promotion through various organizations and media in their own country. Have an art website?
We would welcome a link on your site to IPAP.

Description: The Fremont Art Association 3rd Annual Plein Air Paint Out at Lake Elizabeth/Central Park in Fremont on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Artists will paint until 2:00 PM, followed by a reception at the Park Pavilion from 2:30 to 4:00PM.  Registration applications and rules can be found on the website www.FremontArtAssociation.org, with a registration deadline of September 8, 2010.

Saint Charles Plein Air Competition

Description: The Saint Charles Riverfront Arts, now a 501c3, offers their 3rd Annual Plein Air Competition. As the oldest city on the Missouri River, Saint Charles is known for its rich heritage. This includes being the First State Capitol, the departure point for the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and home to restored historic buildings along Historic Main Street and in the Frenchtown District. Artists will have 10 days to complete their works of art, which must be created completely on site, outdoors within the designated boundaries surrounding the Historic Districts.

Save Yokohl Valley Call for Entries
Show Name: Save Yokohl Valley

Description: The Epperson Gallery will featuring an exhibit of Plein Air Works inspired by the Central Sierras and Foothills. Seventy-five pieces of art will be in a show and sale to benefit efforts to stop the proposed development of the valley ranchland into a city of 30,000 people. Subjects can be landscapes, barns, animals, farming equipment, anything that would be impacted by development of the valley. Overall framed size not to exceed 400 sq. inches. Entry deadline is Oct. 15th; show dates Dec. 4th – Jan. 16th, 2011. $40 entry fee will be donated to the Sierra Nevada Alliance. Four entries can be submitted via CD for jury selection. Entry forms and prospectus is on our web site.
