    “Naples and Nature” Workshop with Kevin Shea

    Description: In “Naples and Nature”, a direct approach is taken
    to subject matter with emphasis on design, color and drawing.
    Students are shown the tools and methods to exercise while capturing
    nature’s fleeting moments on site outdoors.  Daily demonstrations and
    individual instruction included.
    “Naples” features plein air painting of picturesque sidewalk
    cafés, shaded parks and waterfronts of the city.
    In “Nature” we will continue plein air painting south of Naples
    with day-trip adventures to capture the nearby colorful atmosphere of
    the Florida landscape including mangroves, lagoons, palm hammocks and
    woodlands with the sites and sounds of a visual paradise.  All nature
    locations are only minutes from Naples and include easy drive-up
    access and facilities.

    aire” painting. Participants will finish class being be able to
    produce  plein aire paintings of their own using what they have
